      The (GEN 2) STRETCH 16 Phantom AR15 Barrel is top of the food chain when it comes to premium AR15 barrels. The Phantom features check fluting in the front and straight flutes in the back. These distinctions aren't just for show. The design shaves weight and aids in cooling. This is a custom, hand-lapped, precision AR15 barrel and it happens to be the barrel of choice for a large number of competitive shooters and law enforcement agencies. Its guaranteed accuracy and soft shooting appeal can’t be denied. The STRETCH 16's Intermediate Length gas system is approximately 2" longer than the Mid Length gas system and approximately 1.5" shorter than Rifle Length gas systems. The longer the gas system, the softer shooting the rifle is. The  STRETCH 16 Precision AR15 Barrel one of the softest shooting and most versatile AR15 barrels on the market. Phantom barrels include a intermediate length Gas Tube and thread protector.

      *Hand Lapping is a process that deposits lead evenly inside the barrel which smooths the bore and eliminates the need for a lengthy break-in process. A smooth bore is by all definitions a more accurate bore.

      1. Great Barrel

        After an initial break in the barrel stacked a 5 round group in 1/2 MOA @ 75 yards. The extended gas system coupled with a good break and adjustable gas block has made my AR recoil next to nothing with easily being able to have quick follow up shots.         I recently bought the Phantom red 223 Wylde barrel for my competition AR 15 build and it looks great under the carbon fiber hand guard, after initial break in it shoots sub MOA at 100 yards with 62 and 69 grain HPBT ammunition. This is a very nice barrel for anything you need to build your next project rifle with. on Oct 16th 2022

        Lew with stretch precision is amazing I need a barrel fast for my first 3 gun comp and talked to lew and he had a barrel to me writhin 2 days and the fit and finish of the barrel was amazing and when I got it installed the barrel shoots flawless put 200 rounds thru first day with it and kept tight groups at 200 yards and had no malfunctions I'm looking to buy another one for a precision rifle I'm building and lew was incredibly helpful talking to me on install on barrel and advice on future build thank you lew for everything on May 10th 2017

      5. Love the Phantom!

        This is my favorite barrel! It shoots lights out and is so cool looking that I switched out my hand guard so you could see more of it. The red finish is definitely a head turner. Shipped super fast... I think I received it 2-3 days after ordering. on Mar 1st 2017
